VIRTVS RO-MANORVM / TRPS Roma seated facing on throne, head to left, holding globe in her right hand and inverted spear in her left. RIC 84b. RSC 20†a. Nicely toned. Struck from a somewhat worn obverse die, otherwise, very fine.

From a collection formed in the Rhineland from the late 1970s to the late 1990s, privately acquired from Dr. Walter Kimpel (with original dealer's ticket).
